What PiDMX is?

PiDMX is a software to control entertainment lights equipped with DMX 512 protocol. The tutorial section contains the information to make the first steps within the software.

Why "PiDMX"?
"PiDMX" is a software available for Windows and MacOS platforms. The specific control surface based on Raspberry Pi was also designed and built.

The control surface
The control surface is currently in an advanced stage of development and includes:

48 Manual faders to control single DMX channels and scenes;

6 motorized faders to control the selected fixtures;

1 LCD display for viewing the parameters that can be controlled by the motorized faders;

1 TouchScreen display to control the software.

The "PiDMX Mobile" software (Android and iOS) for remote control of "PiDMX" is also available.

The software offers:

Control of single DMX channels;

Storing of scenes;

Patching of the fixtures;

Selection and control of the single fixtures;

Partial compatibility with Capture Visualizer.
